About

I started this project to help other community acupuncturists find resources, support and connection.

I’ve been practicing acupuncture for 18 years, and for the last 13 years I’ve owned one of the busiest community acupuncture clinics in North America, Encircle Acupuncture in Nashville, Tenn. And for almost as long, I’ve been teaching community acupuncture fundamentals and mentoring other community acupuncturists.

I’m also the co-creator of Open ACU, the first integrated cloud-based online scheduling and electronic health records software system created specifically for community acupuncturists. For over a decade, Open ACU has helped community acupuncturists build and grow their practices by providing clinic management software built just for their unique needs.

I’m also the author of Notes from Your Acupuncturist on Substack, and host of the Notes from Your Acupuncturist podcast.
